it can give guests. It’s a good thing too as the Trip prices for the night start at around $900, meaning that the majority of people will not have much time to stay there.
This is what it’s like to stay at Buahan The Buahan, a Banyan Tree Escape, located in Bali and how guests are able to make the most of their time.
Booking
The way you book your hotel could significantly impact the price and experience. That’s definitely applicable to Buahan.
The resort is home to three different types of bales or villas, and all of them have a total of an area of 165 square metres (1,776 sq ft) comprising living spaces and massive outdoor decks that have plunge pools.
Prices start around $940 per night with taxes to family travel blogger Rainforest Pool Bales that are further away in the general areas, and further into the valley, and they only have some mountain views. There are five of them located across the property.
Excessive amount of effort to reach breakfast or dinner
Buahan Valley Pool Bales The pool, of which there are only three, begin at $1,040 for a night with taxes included. They are close to the bar and restaurant which means they don’t require an excessive amount of effort to reach breakfast or dinner, although there is some pedestrian traffic, both by staff and guests.
In the end, the Riverside Pool Bales like the one I booked as I was booking close to the last accommodation available for my dates, begin at $1,080 for a night. They are located higher in the valley, however they are along more remote pathways (mine was located at the end of the land) to provide more peace and more views. There are eight of them available.

My price included dinner, too. But, certain dishes during the night, along with drinks and lunch were more.
As an Classic (non-elite) Accor Live Limitless member I was rewarded with 25 points for every $10 ($10) I could later redeem at the rate of 2,000 points, which will get me the equivalent of 40 euro ($40) for future stays and associated costs.
Location
Buahan is one of the Banyan Solo Parent Family Travel Tree Escape, is approximately an hour’s drive to the north of the central part of Ubud. It is about two-three hours away in distance from Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS).
I arranged for a taxi ride from the accommodation situated in Ubud to Buahan which costs $350,000 Indonesian Rupiahs ($23) and also booked an airport taxi in Buahan direct through the resort for $750,000 rupees ($48).
