Most of the time, Remedy Entertainment games don’t have hard award lists. Most of the time, the hardest part is winning the game on the hardest setting, but Alan Wake 2 doesn’t even have that. Also, there aren’t any extra modes, which can often make the game harder, like Alan Wake’s American Nightmare.
This game is hard because there are a lot of collectibles that are easy to miss and a lot of awards that are hard to understand. If you don’t know how to do some, you might get stuck for a while. One tough situation stands out and can cause a lot of trouble for many people.
Back To Life
In Alan Wake 2, charms are a cool thing to use. They’re nice to have, but you don’t have to have them to finish the game. With this title, there is a chance that some people will not use them at all. To get the award “Back to Life,” you have to use the Coffee Mug Charm to come back to life after dying.
You can get a lot of these if you do all the extra puzzles, but this is a survival horror game, so don’t do them all. Some people might not use the Charms as a challenge or even forget they’re there because they don’t really change the game. Don’t do that. Instead, put one on and play normally until your health is gone.
This Is The Moment
It Worked In The Original, So Why Not Here?
Some of the most popular ways to avoid strikes in the original Alan Wake were to dodge. It was also pretty easy and didn’t have to be done by a certain time. There is a difference between Alan Wake 2 and Taken in that you can’t do the slow-motion dodge in Taken.
You’ll try over and over, but it won’t work. To get the title “This is the Moment,” you need to fight a different enemy. Dogs are the best choice. On your first try, you should be able to slow-mo dodge their hits, so make sure you try this award on them.
Girl In Love
The Hardest Boss In The Game
In Alan Wake 2, the boss fights at the end aren’t that bad, and they depend on the situation more than most boss fights. However, Cynthia is sometimes a bother. It takes a lot of damage to beat her even on Normal. Everything you have in your gun will run out except for pistol bullets.
Alan Wake 2 is longer than most survival horror games, so you can’t just rest up at this point. This makes the fight harder. For the really good healing things, you have to use them in battle, which means you’ll probably get hit if you do. Now is the time to use a Coffee Mug Charm if you haven’t already. Sometimes you can beat this fight with very little life left.
The Nice Things In Life
The Deer Heads and Mayor Slogans are two of the least valuable items you can gather. There’s no need for Deer Heads at all for awards, but the big Mayor needs them. The Slogans aren’t too hard to find, so you should be able to find them all simply as you play. But the next step will be hard for many people to understand.
Once you have all of them, you need to go to Watery and find the house with the save point, which is close to where the area starts. Your goal is to pet the Mayor when you find him. Most people won’t know this is even here, but there will be a new sign in the Slogan sites that draws attention to this spot in Watery. That probably won’t help, though, because many people will just skip over those parts from before and not even notice the new message.
I’ll Find You
You need to get all of the Nursery Rhyme dolls to get this title. The last one is the hardest part. The next-to-last Nursery Rhyme task should be in Cauldron Lake, in a bolted-up spot close to where Skibidi Toilet starts if you use a guide.
You should be able to get the last doll from a close log room once you figure it out. The question is, what if you don’t have a guide? So, this might not be the second-to-last one, and the doll only appears after you’ve finished almost all of them. You won’t even know this doll is here if you keep going with the rest. This is why the last one might be hard.
Shift In Reality
This Isn’t Kids Stuff
When it comes to Nursery Rhyme problems, they can be hard to solve on their own. You have to solve a Nursery Rhyme puzzle by putting dolls in the right places in the puzzles. You’ll have a lot of trouble if you can’t solve puzzles.
The early ones are pretty simple, but they get hard very quickly. The last one is probably the hardest, and it will be hard to even figure out what the clue is. After you finish each one, don’t forget to get the Charm prize, which isn’t always easy to find.
Hidden By The Trees
Searching Every Nook And Cranny
Most of the time, you’ll find Lunch Boxes and Cult Stashes as treasures. These are great tools, especially the Lunch Boxes that might let you improve your weapons. But it’s easy to miss them, and the Stashes’ constant number problems can get old fast.
There are a lot of them, but the tools inside are worth it in the end. One Stash even gives you a key to a new area with more story and goodies. Still, you might need a map to find the ones you missed.
The Trail Of The Writer
In Alan Wake 2, Saga gets most of the collectibles. To get all the awards, Alan needs to find all the Writer’s Journey movies. Some of these can be missed, which means you’ll have to play the whole game over or load an old save if you don’t find them in a certain amount of time.
North of the Talk Show Studio, two of the sneaky ones can be found. It’s on the right side of the alley, and it’s easy to miss. Later on, there’s another one you can miss that makes you get an item first, but Ahti tells you about it, so it should be clear. You should be worried about the two by the alley.
