If you’ve played any FromSoftware games like Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro, or Elder Ring, you know how important it is to be able to dodge and move quickly. The same is true for Armored Core 6, which has also drawn a lot of ideas from the games that came before it. Adding extra parts to your AC is one of the best ways to make that part of it better. With the right boost parts, your AC will move like a butterfly and sting like a bee.
Having the best attacking parts is great, but if you don’t also have the right defense parts, you might as well be a gun that stays in place. This is where the boosters come in. You can get out of harm’s way and quickly move into the perfect position for a damaging response if you have the right one for the way you play. This is how you should think going in, and the now-famous AH12-HC Helicopter will teach you the hard way.
BC-0400 Mule
- Thrust: 5417
- Upward Thrust: 4434
- Quick Boost Thrust: 17500
- Weight: 970
- EN Load: 200
In the beginning of Armored Core 6, the BC-0400 Mule is a good booster, and its lighter weight and lower EN Load make it easy to move around. Still, general performance is much worse, and you should move to a better grade as soon as a replacement is available.
The Mule is a good starting item because it lets you use lighter ACs, which are pretty much the only ones you have for the first few tasks. As soon as the BST-G1/P10 comes out, you should get rid of the Mule because it won’t be able to do what you need when the enemies and bosses get too hard.
BST-G1/P10
- Thrust: 5734
- Upward Thrust: 4667
- Quick Boost Thrust: 17800
- Weight: 1300
- EN Load: 130
The BST-G1/P10 is an improvement over the BC-0400 Mule. It will give your AC more boost and better movement. In general, the BST-G1/P10 is better than the Mule in almost every way, except for how heavy it is.
The good news is that it uses less energy, so the extra weight is countered by better movement in other parts of your AC. This gives you that important movement boost that will come in handy during the Steal the Survey Data task.
Buerzel 21D
- Thrust: 6167
- Upward Thrust: 4834
- Quick Boost Thrust: 18050
- Weight: 2240
- EN Load: 480
The huge weight of the Buerzel 21D is the first thing that stands out, which might make you think twice about putting it in your AC. In a way, you’re right if you want an AC that is quick and darts around the battlefield like a big cat.
The Buerzel 21D, on the other hand, really shines when connected to ACs that don’t use a lot of EN and like to deal with enemies up close. Although it doesn’t have Quick Boost Thrust, it more than makes up for it with strong forward thrust that lets you easily close the distance to your target and use your powerful close-range weapons.
AB-J-137 Kikaku
- Thrust: 5667
- Upward Thrust: 4584
- Quick Boost Thrust: 19150
- Weight: 1820
- EN Load: 266
The earlier boosters on this list used less energy and were lighter than this one. Because it needs a more powerful AC to handle its power, the Kikaku is a real upper-tier booster part. The Kikaku will be able to really show off its strengths, like its great Quick Boost Thrust that lets you dodge better, when it comes with an updated, lighter AC.
If your build uses a lot of “hit-and-run” tactics, this booster will help because it lets you jump in and out of enemy attacks and range. If you want to move quickly and use Blitzkrieg tactics, the Kikaku is a great piece for you.
BC-0600 12345
- Thrust: 5801
- Upward Thrust: 4700
- Quick Boost Thrust: 18900
- Weight: 1360
- EN Load: 180
The BC-0600 12345 is a well-rounded booster that uses very little power and has great Quick Boost Thrust. With these two things together, you have a booster that will be much more compassionate if you keep avoiding. It’s also a good weight if you want to make your builds lighter.
It won’t be a surprise if you stick with the BC-0600 12345 all the way through the finish. It’s one of the best mid-game boosts. People with light AC builds will be able to get the great agility they need from the BC-0600 12345.
BST-G2 P04
- Thrust: 6001
- Upward Thrust: 4900
- Quick Boost Thrust: 20600
- Weight: 1710
- EN Load: 250
Since the BST-G2 P04 is a big improvement over the Kikaku, it should be your next choice if your current build includes the Kikaku. This is another booster that focuses on a well-rounded performance that takes other things into account and makes sure they are all equal.
Compared to the entries above, this booster’s total performance is a big improvement. Also, while some boosters have problems like being too heavy or wasting energy, the BST-G2 P04 is the exact opposite. It’s a good weight, and it doesn’t hold much energy.
Fluegel 21Z
- Thrust: 6101
- Upward Thrust: 5134
- Quick Boost Thrust: 20000
- Weight: 1980
- EN Load: 282
The great Fluegel 21Z builds on the measured performance of the BST-G2 P04. The Fluegel’s stats get a big boost, and its EN load and weight are about right, so they won’t really hurt its performance. It can also handle all kinds of ACs, from heavy tank and triple builds to lighter and faster bipedals, thanks to its balanced specs.
The Fluegel’s lighter weight and EN Load let you make the most of your AC’s attacking power by freeing up more spots. Overall, the Fluegel 21Z booster will make builds that depend on dodging and counterattacking stronger. These are two skills you need to get good at if you want to beat some of the game’s harder tasks, like Operation Wallclimber.
IA-C01B: Gills
- Thrust: 6317
- Upward Thrust: 5001
- Quick Boost Thrust: 18850
- Weight: 1590
- EN Load: 400
An in-game item called the Gills is a booster that you can get in Mission 29 and not in the regular shop. It will be clear that the Gills are in high demand. Because of this, you should probably keep them in your backpack until later in Armored Core 6, when your AC is sufficiently improved.
If your AC can handle it, the Gills’ main benefit is that they let you do almost endless quick dodges, which means you can dodge boost without worrying about what might happen. It will be very helpful in outdoor fights to be able to dodge quickly.
BST-G2 P06SPD
- Thrust: 6801
- Upward Thrust: 4800
- Quick Boost Thrust: 18600
- Weight: 1420
- EN Load: 390
When it comes to ACs that need to move quickly, the BST-G2 P06SPD is perfect. It gives you a strong thrust that lets you go farther in less time. This booster has the best push score in Armored Core 6. The BST-G2 P06SPD is a good choice if you want more freedom on the battlefield.
One major problem with this rocket is that it has a Quick Boost Thrust that is less powerful than its predecessors. For this booster to work best, it should be used with a smaller AC to get around its weight. There are a lot of awards in Survivor IO, and you need to know the pros and cons of each one in order to complete them.
Alula 21E
- Thrust: 6668
- Upward Thrust: 4650
- Quick Boost Thrust: 21650
- Weight: 1900
- EN Load: 410
For looks, the Alula 21E is one of the best. Its blue flame streak and triple exhaust design really make it stand out. Of course, this booster’s high ranking doesn’t just mean it’s flashy; it also meets all the requirements for a top-tier booster. It has one of the best Quick Boost Thrust scores in Armored Core 6, which makes it great at dodging. With this boost, you can float like a butterfly and sting like a bee, just like Muhammad Ali.
You can also see that it has the second-best thrust score, which lets you go very far with just one boost. Pay attention to the extra weight it adds to the table and change how you’re built to account for it. In general, the Alula 21E is one of the best boosts in Armored Core 6 if you want a light AC that focuses on movement.
IB-CO3B: NGI 001-Allmind
- Thrust: 6467
- Upward Thrust: 5501
- Quick Boost Thrust: 22200
- Weight: 1930
- EN Load: 342
What might be the best increase in Armored Core 6 is something you can only get after hitting Hunter Class 13 and New Game Plus. When you finally get the Allmind, you’ll see that its Quick Boost Thrust rate is out of this world, which means it’s great at dodging. Because it can go up, you can also get to high elevations without running out of energy quickly.
The Allmind also works best when the Assault Boost ability is used. Unlocking the Allmind should be one of your goals if your strategy is to close in quickly on your enemies and fire weapons at them straight on.
